Why Trump Keeps Calling Kamala Harris “Stupid” And “Mentally Impaired”

He obviously knows she actually isn’t, given the fact that she kicked his butt so bad in a debate that he won’t do another one.

But there’s way too much pondering going on with this one, so I thought I’d take one sentence to set things straight.

Because this one couldn’t be more simple: Trump’s repeatedly saying it to provide people an excuse not to vote for her that doesn’t make them feel like they might be sexist or racist.

It’s also “code” for Trump saying Harris is a woman, and black, and not worth your vote for either or both of those reasons, while still having deniability he’s racist and sexist.

(Also partly, maybe, because he’s still married to the Biden playbook, which brings his own mental health into question).

Sorry this piece isn’t longer today. But nothing more needs to be said. That’s his proposition. And that’s that.
