It’s Not Even Complicated Enough To Need A “Why”

Don’t y’all get it by now, everything about Trump is numbers that look good?

Update: I wrote this before this. But it only forcefully underscores my point.

So deportation is not really about criminals. Or individuals. It’s about numbers. That’s it.

And criminals, by the nature of their business are harder to find then say, a bunch of Koreans operating out in the open. And within the bounds of legality, or so they thought. Until someone decided there’s just too many Koreans around and ratted on them.

Does that mean Americans will/should be summarily deported should they go to another country on a business trip? You know, that’s allowed. Or it was.

Reminds me of the film Gung Ho about a Japanese takeover of a US car company. Only now, the Japanese managers would be arrested and the underperforming American workers would be left to underperform.

Now what overseas companies would invest in that?

Or does Trump just want direct payments?
