I hear you though I honestly don’t think there’s time right now to learn from mistakes. That time was 2016~now. I’ve worked in tech previously too, and know there are people and orgs out there who are doing it right and just not getting the same $$$ either because they’re not as well connected, or because most people still don’t understand this stuff so they throw money at whomever they’re most familiar with or who pitches best (which is kind of the same thing). That’s why my personal feeling round the folks who messed up Iowa and the orgs who support them is they can make amends by showing up and voting. That’s it.
